Kharagpur City Guide

Kharagpur is an industrial city in Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal. The first Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Kharagpur), was established in May 1950. This place is also popularly known for one of the largest railway workshops in India as well and the third longest railway platform in the world (1072.5 m).
